Opening remarks for Founders First shoot

My fellow founders, our friends, and members of the media:

Today marks a very special day in the history of the shooting sports in Northwest Michigan.
As founders of the Chain O' Lakes Sportsman's Club, I commend you all for your commitment to this project and for your continued support.

Some of us met for the first time only a few months ago and shared the dream of a regional shooting sports resource that would benefit recreational shooters and Second Amendment enthusiasts throughout Northwestern Michigan, and particularly Antrim, Kalkaska, and Northeastern Grand Traverse County.
Today, our dream -- the dream that others thought was impossible -- is now a reality.

We share this moment in time on ground that we own, and we as founders remain focused in our vision and committed to the challenges ahead.
